What is the best way to clean removable grill plates on an outdoor grill?
I have a large outdoor propane grill. It is difficult to clean them with a simple sponge and soap. The grit is crusted on the plates. HELP!
Try spraying them with oven cleaner. Test a small area first to make sure it doesn't ruin the grill's finish.

I was super excited to be chooen to review the New George Foreman Grilleration grill, especially because my old grill is from the era of no kids and about 8 years old. I think I may have even gotten it as a wedding present. It was disgusting! No removeable plates, greasy mess by the time I was done with it.
