Recipes that make grilling season perfect
1 egg
½ cup water
1½ teaspoons instant beef bouillon granules
¼ cup finely chopped onion, leek, shallot or green onion
¼ cup grated parmesan, Romano or asiago cheese
2 tablespoons snipped fresh basil or parsley or 1 teaspoon dried basil or parsley, crushed
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce or steak sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 pound 85 percent lean ground beef
1 pound ground pork
8 onion buns, hamburger buns or kaiser rolls, split and toasted
Mustard Sauce (recipe follows)
Optional: Lettuce leaves, thin tomato and red onion slices, dill pickle spears
Prepare meat mixture: In a large bowl, thoroughly combine egg, water and bouillon granules. Stir in onion, cheese, basil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and black pepper. Add ground beef and pork. Using clean hands, gently combine the egg mixture and ground meats. (Ingredients need to be evenly distributed and your hands are the best "tool' to do this, but is important to handle ground meat mixture as little as possible for a more tender, moist burger.

At my house it is. Its already above the 90 degree mark so cooking out doors is a must. I think you could just throw your burger on the cement and it would probably sizzle, but if you want those pretty grill marks you might want to stick to the gas grill or charcoal grill.
